Although Spanish is the second-most spoken language in the United States, the rich Spanish song repertoire is not performed as frequently as that in other European languages. As with English, singers singing contemporary songs in Spanish need to be aware of differences in Spanish dialects and choose the appropriate one for the piece they’re singing.
