Here are some links to popular repertoire books available through Amazon.* I usually find that Amazon offers the best prices on music, but you do have to be careful that you’re getting the right book since they’re sometimes hard to identify from the picture and product description. If you’re looking for general repertoire, I strongly suggest you get books that come with accompanying CDs. However, I’ve made a separate list of books without CDs that may be useful if you need specific rep.
If you are my student, you should purchase books for low voices unless I have specifically instructed you otherwise. If a book doesn’t specify “low” voice, pick one that specifies “mezzo-soprano” or “alto” (if you’re a girl) and “baritone” or “bass” (if you’re a guy). Ladies, please don’t get books labeled “tenor,” no matter how low your voice is!
